A little bit of Buddhist studies

Buddhism

lamrim

In the beginning of my journey into the philosophy and teachings of The Buddha, I made notes on my laptop and published the document as a PDF.

Today, I am inspired to share it with you. I humbly hope the deepest meanings in this document will inspire you, kind reader, to begin to delve into your conditioned habits and mind, to overcome and triumph over the end of your delusions, and development of compassion and the earnest seeking of the Bodhisattva’s Path.

The second PDF is the Lamrim. Graduated path to Enlightenment featuring Lama Tsongkhapa’s “Foundation of All Good Qualities” & “Lam Rim Chenmo” Commentaries by Geshe Tenzin Zopa

This document/ book is the total teaching of Buddhism. Granted there are some ideas that warrant further studying, however, this journey would not be without a reforming of my mind without this framework.

Speaking of framework… this image is of a bead and stone Mandala I created using  the Eightfold Path to Enlightenment. It has the focal position in my sitting room / lounge as a constant reminder to Practice Everywhere, and always.

May all beings be free from suffering and it’s causes. May all beings be happy and have the causes for happiness..

Until we meet next time..

The journeying Bodhisattva,

Tara
